Founded by the doyen of South African fundraising, Terry A Murray, and Michael G Downes
of Downes Venn Associates in Australia, the company is now in the capable hands of
Jenni McLeod and Emmi Albers, who together have more than forty years’ experience with
the company.
How we work
In partnership with our clients, Downes Murray International works with board and
volunteers to:
- assess funding needs
- examine and identify the potential of the constituency to meet those needs
- design and implement a tailored programme to raise the required money
- provide training where necessary
- analyse results
- guide and advise in whatever areas may be necessary for the successful continuation
of the programme
As a full service consultancy, we are able to provide the entire spectrum of related
services – from strategic planning and budgeting to prospect identification and evaluation,
preparation and printing of effective communication materials, mail processing, website
development, bequest promotion and detailed analyses of results.
