  SA CHILDREN’S TRUST LOSES OUT

After raising almost R60 million for South African children’s charities over the past five
years, the Winikhaya competition has been forced to shut down because of a ruling by
the Constitutional Court. Declared an illegal lottery, Winikhaya will be closing its doors,
affecting beneficiaries including Reach for a Dream Foundation, CHOC Childhood Cancer
Foundation, Cotlands, Ithemba Trust, and the South African Red Cross Society.
